i have to preface this review with a couple of things: 1) i typically do not like bdsm books 2) i do not like serials and 3) i did not read books 1 & 2.
all that being said i gave it 3 stars – it had potential. it felt like pretty woman does bdsm although not too hardcore. the fairy tale romance for a girl down on her luck. i felt the story was a bit short and underdeveloped. the writing was ok…a bit elementary at times.
even though this book can be read as a stand-alone, i felt like i was missing vital information because i had not read books 1 & 2 so i would recommend reading this series in order.
