Christina’s Review

The Perfect WaveThe Perfect Wave by A.J. Pryor
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

being an IT person originally from southern california and now living in texas, this book had great appeal for me.

jessica was a strong, very likeable character even being a very rich kid. i like that she stood up for herself with her mother and went after what she wanted. while she really liked roan and wanted a relationship with him, she was able to be friends with him and not a clingy, whiny girl we usually read about.

i didn’t like that roan made jessica think he was sleeping with all those women after he met her because he was trying to hide his attraction to her. i did love his career and that he was not an unmovtivated surfer like i’ve read about in other books. he ended up being a really sweet, loving guy. i love his relationship with his brother.

i liked the writing in this book as well as the alternate POV’s that were clearly indicated. the supporting characters were great…i’d like to read more about them. especially jaxon and blake!
