I really enjoyed this book. Mystery Man Ray/Predator and Sia are drawn to each other, despite both of their tragic pasts. Ray was definitely an alpha, kind of an anti-hero, totally a predator. He was a dark powerhouse, an MMA fighter. Sia, a tattoo artist, goes to all of his underground fights and watches him train at Redemption, the gym where her brother, a cop, also trains and works. Sia is hiding her pain and her secrets behind tattoos, piercings and an attitude.
Ray and Sia worked so well together. He challenged her to trust, to explore her sexual wants and needs. She gave Ray, a protector, a purpose, a reason to open his heat. He defended her, forced her to revel her secrets and helped her find closure. She did the same for him. The writing was good, the chemistry between the characters was explosive. Some scenes were heartbreaking, especially those with Ray having to express or release his pain in a physical way.

This is book 3 in a series. I haven’t read the other books, but I will now. I want to know more about Ray. This book did not reveal all of his secrets.
