This book picks up where book 1 left off…and Thorne and Riley/Dash navigating through their new relationship. At times they seem like they’re on the same page and sometimes not.
Riley is a bit overwhelmed with all the changes in his life and he is having a hard time keeping up. If he could be as confident as Riley as he was/is as Dash everything would probably be just fine. He still doesn’t feel right letting Thorne take care of him. And Thorne somehow lacks self confidence in his personal life that he has in abundance in the business realm. They have a definite lack of communication and that stalls them quite a bit. The angst had me a little teary-eyed for a bit but the Spiderman ring made up for it.
I’m not sure whether or not we’ll get another book about these 2 but there is potential for a book about a couple of supporting characters!
