Sela Halstead lost her innocence in a way that no sixteen-year-old should ever have to endure. She’s spent years trying to forget that night even while wondering about the identities of the monsters who brutalized her-until a telltale tattoo flashes across Sela’s TV screen. The incriminating ink belongs to Jonathon Townsend, the millionaire founder of The Sugar Bowl, a website that matches rich older men with impressionable young women. Obsessed with revenge, Sela infiltrates Townsend’s world, only to come face-to-face with a tantalizing complication: Beckett North, his charismatic business partner.
The tech mastermind behind The Sugar Bowl, Beck always gets what he wants, in business and in bed. And yet, for a man who’s done every dirty thing imaginable, there’s something about the naïve, fresh-faced Sela that sparks his hottest fantasies. Because with her, it’s not just about sex. Beck opens up to her in ways he never has with other girls. So why does he get the feeling that she’s hiding something? In a world of pleasure and power, the shocking truth could turn them against each other-or bind them forever.
Note: Sugar Daddy ends on a cliffhanger. Sela and Beck’s story continues in Sugar Rush and Sugar Free!

4 of 5 Stars
The premise of the The Sugar Bowl, a dating site for older men (Sugar Daddies) looking for younger companions (Sugar babies) for companionship, etc…., I thought was just pretty creative. I know there are things like that out there, but I live in a bubble, so we will pretend this is the first time, I have even considered it. I was perplexed and intrigued by the Sugar Bowl. It was an interesting idea and I could definitely appreciate the nuances of the concept. I actually did a little research into the best escort biella offers to see if the services offered in the book were similar. Turns out they are! I can see why this arrangement works so well for many.
The book deals with a painful past, revenge and the attempt to let go, in order to move on. I really appreciated Sala’s struggle. Her desire to avenge her youth vs her struggle to enjoy her now. The back and forth and the emotional turmoil she struggles with, was very well written. I could feel it. She went looking for revenge, but got more that she bargained when she finds herself involved and intrigued with Beck, one of the founder fathers of the Sugar Bowl. It was sweet to see how their relationship develops, evolves and matures. The progression was very good.
I went in not expecting a whole lot, but was pleasantly surprised by the depth within the story. It ends with a CLIFFHANGER. I am ok with that. It was very well set up and I can NOT wait until the story continues!! I will def read the next one. I think the name of the book might make some readers not seek to pick it out, but I was pleasantly surprised.
