Police officer Milo and Fireman Daniel have been dating off and on for six years, but it always seems more off than on. Just when their relationship reaches breaking point, someone enters their lives, unknowingly helping the confused couple work through their differences.

Falling in love with the man Daniel rescued and who Milo is investigating as a potential arson suspect isn’t a conventional start to any relationship, especially one which includes a mysterious blond who’s afraid to stop running. But they both see what didn’t work out as a couple, could work out as a ménage.

Daniel and Milo unite to help save Samuel, but quickly realise he’s not the only one being saved.

With so many obstacles in their way threatening to destroy the future they desire, all three have to fight to create a bond too strong for anyone or anything to break.

Excerpt:

Their mouths parted, Daniel moaning as Milo slipped his tongue inside him, teasing him with soft caresses until he plunged deeply into his mouth, fighting with Daniel’s tongue as their bodies began to grind together in that perfect dance. Both were so in tune to the other, both knowing just what to give to drive the other insane with desire.

“I need you, Danny. You can feel how much I need you.” Milo pressed the ridge of his swollen cock against Daniel’s, both groaning as their lengths rubbed against each other. “What I need, I can only get from you. You’re the only one on my mind. Even when I’m alone, you’re the one I see, who I hear with me, who I feel under me, over me, against me. It’s just you, Daniel. It has been for three years. There’s no one else.”

Daniel’s hands were in Milo’s hair, clinging onto him tightly and forcing their mouths to collide again, his hips raising up and crushing their cocks against each other. They were both breathing too fast, their bodies crying out for more when Milo lifted from Daniel’s swollen lips.

“You don’t have to lie to me.” Daniel moaned as Milo worked his hand over his cock, the sweatpants he wore tenting over his length.

“I’m not lying.”

Daniel’s eyes focused more on him, the truth finally seeping through that thick skull of his. “Milo…”

Milo fisted his hand tighter in Daniel’s hair. Seeing him like this turned him on too much. “Tell me what you want.”

Daniel paused, but his body rose up to Milo’s, begging for what it needed before he could say the words. “I need you inside me.”

Q:  You co-wrote a book last year with E.M. Leya (‘Horizontal Analysis’).  What was it like to co-author?  Will you be co-authoring book 2?

A:  It was an amazing experience. It wasn’t really planned out, it just kinda happened. Our French translator was putting together an anthology and she wanted two authors for each short, so she asked if Emma and I would put our heads together and see what happened.

We only had to write 30,000 words, which between us was easy peasy because we both write so fast and connect quickly to our characters. We came up with the basic plot, threw some ideas around and then just began. It turned out to be a much longer book—no surprise really—but we decided it wouldn’t fit in with the anthology and chose to publish this one ourselves and write another short.

Horizontal was one of the most pleasant and problem free books I’ve ever written. Killian & Zach were quite obviously made for each other and despite a few hurdles, they stuck together. No drama, no high angst, lots of hot sex. For a first co-written book, it was a blessing. We didn’t disagree, had no issues with the plot or the characters, everything was amazing and a really good experience for us both.

We quickly finished our short with the same feelings. It was based in the US and it was my first step into writing a character based out of Europe, so it was a learning curve for me and it was great to have Emma there with pointing out my Englishisms. Minor differences which I would never have picked up on if it wasn’t for her.

We have finished book two in our collection. It’s called Absolution and is out for release on the 10th April. This book was everything book 1 wasn’t and it pushed us both to our limits. It’s a testimony to how strong our friendship is, because I’m pretty sure others would have walked away and never spoken after this one. It has two very different characters in it from Horizontal and we were dealing with two men who both individually had their own demons to fight as well as helping each other through the tough times.

It was tough, and this one we both saw the characters differently and wanted to go in different directions. We had many, many discussions writing this and we came out of it knowing and understanding each other more than I ever thought we would. It was one of the most difficult books I have ever written and hopefully ever write. I’m confident I have PSTD from it lol But… we both made something great and Absolution will be one of the books I am most proud of because of the struggles we went through to get it right.

And yes, we will be working on book and a couple of shorts to finish off the collection. I don’t think either of us are ready to go back to Jon & Asher yet, but ask us again in two years and we’ll see how we feel about it.

Q:  The Hidden Series seems to be going strong and long!  Give those of us that haven’t read it a quick couple of sentences about why we should check it out.

A:  I am truly crap at singing my own praises. I can talk about my characters for hours, but promoting them and coming up with slogans is difficult, so I’m cheating and stealing a few phrases form reviews which I feel hit the nail on the head about the Hidden Series:

The characters are addictive, the story brilliant and the plot twists are fascinating.

Right at the end of the year I started The Hidden Series and I have been absolutely blown away! This woman writes long books with really messed up characters that grab you and won’t put you down. Just when you think you have worked out where she is taking the story she twists it all around and takes you off in another direction.

The wealth these men have make it possible for them to have everything they want, everything except peace, happiness and truth.

You will go through an emotional rollercoaster with this book relationships are tested to the Max.

Q:  How did you come up with the idea for Saving Samuel?  Does throwing in a third male complicate the story or is it just as easy as 2 men?

A:  It came from a quick chat with one of my friends who was throwing ideas at me for new books. I’d never thought about doing one with firemen or the police before, but it made me think and I soon developed the idea into a ménage with a young runaway who they would both have to help save in more than one way.

Two people in a relationship can be complicated, so a third person ads more spice to the story. I wouldn’t say complications as such, there are all the normal relationship issues we go through, but they contain more due to the third person. Developing the trust and making sure all three move and are equally involved in the relationship is more difficult, and it doesn’t always happen with all three at the same time, that just depends on the people involved. In this book, I found all three wanted the relationship  to happen, but there are reasons why they shouldn’t be together which stop them.

Q:  Do you have pictures of your inspiration for Daniel, Milo or Samuel?

A:  Here’s one I put together with the men who helped inspire me in Saving Samuel.

Q:  What is your favorite time of day to write and favorite location?

A:  I write anytime I can but I tend to only write on my laptop or PC but I would write on my phone if I had word 😀

I’m in the middle of setting up an office, but I have written all my books in the sitting room on my laptop surrounded by the TV and my family making a huge fuss around me. It will be a big change for me moving out of my current location because it will apart from family life and feel more professional lol I’m just hoping it will work out.
