Blurb:

Oliver “Ollie” Petroskovic’s life as an international supermodel was heading in the right direction. He worked part-time for his brother at his detective agency—Petroskovic Haven Investigations—and had just bought his dream house. But all that changed when he found his brother dead, a victim of PTSD-induced suicide.

Almost a year later, Ollie is trying to keep his brother’s business afloat, but can’t get his PI license. Then his brother’s best friend, Kade Alme, shows up, fresh from the battlefield after a close brush with death. Kade is looking for a new life, in more ways than one, and with PI license in hand, he’s exactly what Ollie needs to keep PHI running.

When one of Ollie’s childhood friends gets in trouble, Ollie feels he has to help. Kade insists on investigating if only to keep Ollie safe. Neither realizes the danger they’re in as someone tries to tear them apart before they can find solid ground together.

Excerpt:

Donovan headed up the stairs in front. I caught up with him, pushed him behind me, pulled out my Taser, and gripped my phone. Maybe his paranoia had transferred to me, but Nathan had always said trust my instincts. They had saved me more than once from a pissed-off cheating perp whom I’d caught in a compromising position.

“If you stay here again tonight, you’re moving to a different room.” Maybe it was the early morning hours or the lack of sleep, but something felt hinky as I crept toward the room, hunched low like I was some sort of super spy. Donovan walked like an elephant behind me no matter how many times I waved at him and hissed at him to get down. The room was dark. Nothing moved that I could see peering through the very corner of the window. But the blackout curtains were pretty effective at keeping peeping toms out. Donovan fiddled with his little card key, and I took it from him—shoving him away from the door—and, still hunched low and to the side, slid it in the slot until I got a green light.

  1. H.B. says:

Congrats on your new book release!
If I was a model, I’ll probably want to be a one of those catalog clothing models.

  2. Jen says:

Thanks for the post. The new book sounds good and has a great cover.

If I had to be a model, I would need to be a hand model or something like that. I do not pose well for photos…

  3. Ree Dee says:

If I had what it took to be a model, I would love to be a catalog model or a runway model.
