Avery Nolan’s father has never been a part of her life.
As a result, she finds herself becoming a caretaker. Always trying to please other people, willing to tuck her own concerns aside for the happiness of others.
She is selfless.
She is a nurturer.
On the outside, it appears Kade Thomas has it all, but no one can understand the guilt and ache he feels daily.
He is haunted by his past.
Every time he closes his eyes, he finds himself reliving the same nightmare, over and over again.
He blames himself for the loss of Jenna.
He pushed her too far and she paid the price.
Avery saw something special in Kade, from the first day she met him—she could feel it.
But the darkness that consumes him is…
Uncontrollable.
Will she finally be the one to break down the walls he’s built around his heart and soul?
Or will she find some walls are just Indestructible…
Uncontrollable by C.A. Harms

another great book in this series!
we finally find out why kade has been such a closed off, depressed guy. and in the beginning of this book treats avery like crap. deep down he’s a really good guy, he just buried all that under the hurt from his past. there is a minute where you really don’t like him in this book and it took a while for him to get back into my good graces.
avery was as fantastic as ever in this book. she is exactly what kade needs. she is sweet, strong and forgiving (much more so than i would have been).
all our favorite characters from the series are in this book. there are a couple of twists and turns – not totally unexpected but good nonetheless. we got a glimpse into jude’s story which i’m assuming is next. it stands to be the best book of the series. i cannot wait for it.
