Rage, a story about a MLB player with a bad temper (Rage/AJ) and a single mom (Addison), was told from a dual POV. I liked being in Rage’s head more than Addison’s. In fact, while I loved the romance between AJ and Addison, I think I liked his relationship with her daughter more than anything.
Rage – loved his alpha, protective side, and that he fell so hard for Addison and her daughter.
Addison – loved that she was a tough, single mom but her secret was a twist.
Clair – loved this little girl, so bright, quirky, funny and captivating.
The story was paced well and the dialogue felt “real.” The romance was sizzling and surprisingly and refreshingly traditional. A great book for a rainy day, when you have all day to read it start to finish. My only minor gripe, I found myself skimming a couple of times when the author relied too much on describing what was happening or what the character was feeling.
