PS TOUR BANNER.jpg

Whether it’s teaching you guys how to unblock xhamster and other erotic sites while at work, reviewing porn books, or writing our own raunchy short stories, you guys know we aren’t ones to shy away from porn. Which is why we are excited to be discussing a book that has been creating quite the buzz in the erotic novel scene for a while: Porn Star by Laurelin Paige and Sierra Simone.

Synopsis:

You know me.

Come on, you know you do.

Maybe you pretend you don’t. Maybe you clear your browser history religiously. Maybe you pretend to be aghast whenever someone even mentions the word porn in your presence.

But the truth is that you do know me.

Everybody knows Logan O’Toole, world famous porn star.

Except then Devi Dare pops into my world, and pretty soon I’m doing things that aren’t like me-like texting her with flirty banter and creating an entire web porn series just so I can get to star in her bed. Again. And again.

With Devi, my entire universe shifts, and the more time I spend with her, the more I realize that Logan O’Toole isn’t the guy I thought he was.

So maybe I’m not the guy you thought I was either.

3.5 HAWT of 5 Stars
Let’s face. The title got me. Don’t lie out be coy. It’s ok to admit it. It worked. lol
Story is about Logan, a well established porn star, something similar to people on hdpornvideo.xxx. What I liked about Logan is that he LOVES it. He LOVES it. He’s great at what he does and makes no apologies for it. TBH, I found him refreshing because he OWNED his douchiness. In fact, maybe I enjoyed it a little too much? I’m not sure if that’s a thing! After reading this book, I did head over to https://www.xxxvideor.com/categories/143/casting?hl=es to see if I could find something that would replicate his desires.
Enter Devi, the young fresh faced girl, the it girl in the girl on girl sector of the industry. They meet and have crazy chemistry. They begin a new project where they straddle/walk a fine line between fact/feelings vs fiction/work.
Here is where I have to give props. The storyline lends itself to be cheesy, but there’s a genuine struggle within each of characters that it honestly adds an extra layer of complexity and depth to Devi and Logan. I didn’t expect it. I’ll be honest. I didn’t. So, why the 3.5 stars? Tbh, there’s a part of the story where Devi is just devastated and gutted by her realization and then it feels like her parents are bit like Cricket and Mulan. No reason other than just comedic relief. I just didn’t feel it, felt trite. It bummed me out.
Anyway, I love both of these authors and loved what they did with this unconventional story of love. It had real genuine moments and truthfully it was just refreshing. It was different and I dug it.

About the Authors:

laurelinpaige

NY Times & USA Today Bestselling author Laurelin Paige is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender.
