Worth It All (The McKinney Brothers, #3)Worth It All by Claudia Connor
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I just can’t tell you how much I love this series. I love all the characters. I love that all the stories are unique. I love the writing. I love the all the sappy romance. I love the relatively low angst.

Jake/JT is pretty amazing…and he doesn’t even really know it. He’s lived with so much guilt and regret that he doesn’t see what everyone else sees. He’s super smart – a biomedical engineer (yes, oh yes) and super sweet and as it turns out, really romantic. He broke my heart a little bit with how much he lacked self-worth.

Paige is a pretty amazing young lady…putting the needs of her unplanned child ahead of her own needs. She is running herself ragged to make sure her daughter doesn’t suffer the way she did as a kid. She’s strong, dedicated and driven.

Casey might be my favorite kid character ever! She was inquisitive, exhausting, smart, strong, resilient and ridiculously entertaining. She kept everyone on her toes.

There was a nice side story for Paige’s cousin Jenny. And Jake’s family is simply amazing. The contrast between what Jake has in his family and what Paige has is significant and all of them made the story that much better.

This is definitely a great read that I highly recommend, along with the other books in this series. Ms. Connor is on my auto-buy list now that I’ve discovered her books!
