What reviewers are saying…
I absolutely adored Liam and Lachlan’s journey. It was sweet, smexy, frustrating and real and I savored each step forward and back that these men took in order to find their HEA. – Books-n-Wine
What do you get when you take a hot rugby star who is sexually confused and add in a sexy, chef who knows what he wants? An excellent read! – Que Sara Sera Book Blog
From start to finished i devoured this read and couldn’t put it down till i had. I was drawn in and captivated with Liam and Lachlan’s story. – Millsy Loves Books
Break Down was everything and more; all of Rebecca Norinne’s words are so beautifully and tastefully written you will not be disappointed with this book. –Scandalous Book Blog
Wow this book! I am having a hard time putting into words how I feel. I absolutely loved this book. This is one of the best M/M romances I have read in a while. –Laid Back Book Bitches
Holy amazing story Batman! This is the first story by this author that I have read. I’m a automatic one clicker for her now. WOW. – The Heathers Blog
This M/M read, is beautifully written. The characters being both sexy & rough, yet emotional & vulnerable. – Dani’s Book Review Blog
This is my first/only book in this series (as well as the author) and it’s safe to say this can be read as a standalone. I’m guessing a couple of the characters we meet in the book were the MC’s in previous books. This is a relatively low angst book with nothing earth shattering happening. The writing is good…there is a little about rugby so if you need that when the book is classified as a sports romance, it’s there.
Lachlan and Liam have great sexual chemistry and lack for nothing between the sheets. Liam is in the closet and Lachlan is out and proud. (If you’ve read any similar closet/out story, you’ve read this one.) I typically don’t read books with closet characters because someone inevitably always gets hurt but this one wasn’t too painful. Neither character is very complex but likeable enough.
The ending is a HFN vs. a HEA and we know this because the ending is ‘for now’. I’m not sure whether I’d read another book in the series just to get more info on these guys. I have no idea if there will be more M/M books in this series although I suppose there could be based on a couple other characters we meet.
This is a quick, decent read that I can recommend but as noted you won’t find anything new or earth shattering here.
