“I could spend days listening to you talk about chocolate.”

Sex and chocolate are the two pleasures Michal enjoys most in life.

His sex life has been nonexistent for some time, though. After a particularly bad hookup, he keeps mostly to himself. That leaves chocolate. Luckily, he works surrounded by the most delicious, extravagant produce in Gothenburg. Beside his job at the chocolaterie, his main source of excitement is his online friend, Magnus, whom he stubbornly refuses to meet in person.

A customer turns up at the chocolaterie one day – tall, shy, and charming. He could be just the right man. If Michal can step out of his overly safe shell, there might be not only chocolate, but sex, too. Maybe chocolate-flavored sex. And if he’s lucky, maybe even love.

Warning: This book contains explicit scenes, adult language, and obscene amounts of chocolate.

4.5 of 5 Stars

This is my first book by this author and WOW what a surprise for me…I rarely love novellas, but this is just damn awesome (so I may be a bit gushy). There is so much emotion packed in this book. The writing is SO good. The pacing is perfect and because the MC’s have a history that is well explained though not fully witnessed by the reader, their love is grown organically and not rushed. The story is completely unique and new to me…the location, how the MC’s met – first virtually then in person, and the overall premise of the story. This book has the perfect balance of sweet romance and melt the pages, super-hot, sexual chemistry between Michal and Magnus.

While Michal is a good solid character, Magnus made me an absolute puddle of goo. I could tell, almost from the beginning, how much he FELT for Michal. I can honestly say it seems as if he lives for Michal…

I don’t want to give too much away as it’s short and this is definitely a story that should be experienced without any spoilers or additional information, so I’ll stop here.

Do yourself a favor and listen to the book even if you’ve already read it or want to read it. The vocal performance was amazing. His pronunciation of the foreign (to me) locations and the names was superb (and very appealing 😊). His voices for both Michal and Magnus were spot on for their personalities. He brought the emotions of the story to life!

About The Author

Roe was born in former Czechoslovakia and endured a miserable adolescence in the post-communist wasteland. Equipped with a dark sense of sarcasm, they left for Germany and later, Spain.

Finally, they settled in Sweden, where the weather is nasty but the freedom great. Roe works as a motion graphics artist, loves Jane Austen, Douglas Adams and everything in between, preferably by the fireplace with a strawberry daiquiri in hand. Roe writes contemporary romantic fiction – it conveniently balances out their real-life pragmatism.

When not hiding in the studio doing graphics, Roe can be found trolling cafés in Gothenburg, writing, and people-watching.
