Once upon a time, in a little Texas town in the middle of nowhere, there lived a boy who everyone called ugly…
When half your face is covered in a big, blotchy birthmark, you get used to the staring and the whispers. You get used to feeling unwanted.
Until he walks into my bar…
Tall, gorgeous, and all kinds of out of place. And the way he looks at me ain’t like no way I’ve ever seen before.
Does he mean it when he says he wants to take me away from here? Nobody’s ever wanted me around for long. Can I believe Barrett when he says that’s what he wants?
Something about the word Daddy on my lips makes it all seem possible. Even if I don’t really believe anyone would want to keep an ugly boy like me forever…
***Pretty Boy is a low-ish angst, steamy, sweet Daddy story with NO age play.***
I growl with frustration. “Look at me,” I demand. Sterling wipes his hands against his face and slowly turns his head, meeting my eyes. “You’re sleeping in my bed and wearing my cock cage. You’re here on my arm, being introduced to everyone I know. What do you need to convince you that you’re mine?” I’m as frustrated with myself as I am with him, maybe moreso. It’s my job to make sure he feels secure and cared for, and I’m failing him. When he doesn’t say anything, I lift him up and put him on my lap, cupping his face and wiping away the stray tears with my thumbs. “If your ass was red and sore from a spanking, would that convince you? Do you need to be filled by Daddy’s cock and made to come over and over until you’re finally sure of my feelings for you?”

Wow…this one surprised me. I’ve been on a bit of a daddy/boy kick lately, but I haven’t read anything I’ve loved…until now. This is a spin on a cinderfella story. It is predictable and sugary sweet, and I loved every minute of it.
It’s been a minute since I read a book that made me cry. There is a scene in this one that does. I’m glad this wasn’t just one sex scene after another…there’s more story than sex.
I love what Barrett, Alden and Kieran do for a living. Alden and Kieran didn’t endear themselves to me but if the foreshadowing of their future relationships is how this series will play out, I’m waiting on pins and needles for their books.
About the Author
K.M. Neuhold is a complete romance junkie, a total sap in every way. She started her journey as an author in new adult, straight romance, but after a chance reading of an MM book she was completely hooked on everything about lovely- and sometimes damaged- men finding their Happily Ever After together.
She has a strong passion for writing characters with a lot of heart and soul, and a bit of humor as well. And she fully admits that her OCD tendencies of making sure every side character has a full backstory will likely always lead to every book having a spin-off or series.
When she’s not writing, she’s a lion tamer, an astronaut, and a superhero…just kidding, she’s likely watching Netflix and snuggling with her husky, Lola, while her amazing husband brings her coffee.
