as i stated in my review of alex (book 1)…i think ms. bennett may be my long lost sister soul mate. alex is like the perfect BBF for me…black hair, blue eyes, hockey player that can be sweet and sour. when she introduced garrett, i knew we were sister soul mates. he pretty much won me (and i’m betting everyone else) over in book 1 and i absolutely could not wait to read this book.
oh, the wait was so totally worth it. this book was perfect. garrett and olivia are perfect for each other. their whole story is so awesome. garrett is known as the team playboy…and that’s how he meets olivia. trying to make her another notch in his bedpost. which olivia realizes she’s ok with based on her medical issues. she’s just decided to live life to its fullest and not have any regrets. well, as you can imagine one night isn’t enough for either of them. garrett was simply amazing as he matured through his relationship and realizes that he really was just waiting for the right woman to change him. he’s never been opposed to a relationship, he just hasn’t ever met someone worth putting in the effort. he is absolutely perfect at being in a relationship…and if you didn’t love him in the first book, you have no choice but to love him in this one. i love his and olivia’s banter and their chemistry is off the charts.
while i was a little sad about some of the angst, i understand why it happened. it broke me a little bit to read through that though. fair warning – you will need tissues for a minute in this one.
stevie was totally awesome! i loved him and his flamboyance!
book 3 appears to be about zack which makes me a little nervous because of the emotion that is going to be involved in that…although i’m sure it will be great.
