This books is part of a series and includes characters from yet another series.If you have not read the other stories, it impacts your fun. I have read the other books and I really enjoyed Maeve and Bradach’s story.
The passion was quick to ignite, a but of insta-love but the book is not very long. Both characters were strong and committed. Maeve is strong and fiery. A dark fae and a reaper together, it was a bit of a sizzle. The book is not the final battle and didn’t move the overall series’ story along, but it was interesting to see Usaeil’s next move.
Full of deceit and action, this is still a fated mate love story. Well-paced but, again, just a bit short. Bring on more reapers, the fae and the dragon kings.
